You should have received an introductory email with the subject line “Your credentialing info for the Michigan Democratic Party 2024 Spring State Convention” from “Michigan Democratic Party | Voatz Team (info at voatz dot com)”. It was sent to the email address your party has on file. NOTE: The email is only sent after you checkin at the Convention on the morning of August 24th.
The email contains the following information:
Please download the app and complete the credentialing process at your earliest convenience to ensure you are ready to credential on Convention day.
If you haven’t received the email after you checked in, please check your spam, junk, and/or trash folders (and if you have Gmail, a folder called “Updates”) to make sure it didn’t end up there. If you’re still unable to find it, contact the Voatz Help Desk for assistance. Ask them to confirm that you’re on the eligible voter list and that they have the correct email address.
The Voatz app is supported on:
If your phone is using an earlier operating system, please upgrade your phone to the latest version, or complete the E-petition signup form to sign petitions via web form
Please note, the Voatz app is not supported on Android tablets; however, it is supported on an iPad 3 or newer, but it must have a cellular connection capable of receiving SMS messages.
Our User Guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you download the Voatz app and create an account. Help is also available in the app by tapping the “Help” button in the top right corner of most screens.
If you previously created an account in the Voatz app, you must use the same email address you used at that time. If this email address is no longer available to you, contact the Voatz help desk for assistance. Be sure to include your full name and both your old and new email addresses
An SMS (text) notification will temporarily display at the top of your screen, but if you miss it, you can still retrieve it:
Please tap the request new code button to receive a new SMS registration code. It may take a few minutes to receive it, and when you do, check to make sure you enter all 6 digits correctly. Then you’ll be able to tap the Next button to continue creating an account.
First, double check your Voter ID to make sure you entered it correctly. It might be helpful to write it down or view it on a different device. Please also be careful to distinguish between the number “0” and the letter “O”.
If you’re sure your Voter ID is correct, there might be a mismatch with the information that appears on your party’s voter registration list. Contact the Voatz Help Desk for assistance.
After entering your Voter ID, you should be verified immediately. If you see a “pending” status, you may have entered your Voter ID incorrectly. Contact the Voatz Help Desk for assistance. Be sure to include your full name, mobile number and the email address you used to create an account with Voatz.
